Scilly Isles
I suppose that I should compile a complete diary of events during our trip to the Scilly Isles (England) this June. However, since I am new to this BLOG stuff and exceptionally lazy, I can't be bothered. However, here are a few piccies for those sad enough to have found this page...
To the left is the Lighthouse at Penennis Head on St Marys
Over to the right is the view of sunset between Tresco & Bryher. The building on the right is Cromwells Castle that replaces King Charles castle that was built too far from the waters-edge and couldn't lob its cannonballs far enough to be effective.

"Nadezhda" our Saltram Saga 40' sitting pretty between Tresco and Bryher.
To the right is 1st mate Fliss (also sitting pretty). The view is from Tresco looking North-East towards St Martins Island.

June is probably the best time to visit. The Islands put on an amazing display of a great variety of wild flowers. In addition, I think that some of the non-indigenous plants from Tresco's botanical gardens have made a bid for freedom and joined the local display.
